Another year in the life of Britney Spears

3 December 2008 | Posted by Myles Wilson | Head of Operations SA | Search

Not for the first time Britney Spears has ended the year as the most popular search term on Yahoo.com. Amazingly she ended up top of the list for the last seven out of eight years.
With today being only the 2nd of December (co-indecently also Britney's birthday) it seems a little premature to be reviewing the [...]

Here are a few interesting Google snippets.

Google has raked in $48 billion from Internet ads since 2001

‘Google Suggest’ is Google’s ‘new’ auto complete search feature which gives you automatic recommendations when you begin a search.

The feature aims at eliminating the need for Google’s "Did you mean?" feature which pops up when you mispell words.
The feature is not totally new as its has been in
development in Google’s Labs since 2004 [...]

20 August 2008 | Posted by Myles Wilson | Head of Operations SA | Social Responsibility

After a lengthy battle with bureaucracy all the donated goods from the UK where finally delivered to Vuyani this week.
The books were particularly warmly received by the principal. Vuyani doesn’t have a library and so they rely on a few mobile bookshelves which are wheeled between the classes.
Big thanks to everyone involved in [...]
