Spotlight: The Model for Identifying Influencers | London #LovinglifeLondon
As many of you may know the London office of Tamar is based in picturesque Chiswick. Every weekend many of us like to explore London, just like the majority of locals and thousands of tourists. One of the things I love about London is that you can never say you are bored, as it is certain you won’t have done EVERYTHING London has to offer. But, perhaps you just don’t realise just how much is on offer? Thankfully London blogs have grown and are now one of the best sources of information for discovering what you can do, be it in the evening or at the weekends. Offering you advice on everything from where to take the kids, the best place for brunch and the secret spots such as hidden bars and pop up restaurants.
This is why for today only, as part of my ‘Twitter takeover’ day, I have done a mini Spotlight on ‘London blogs’.
Tweet @Tamaruk now too, and tell us why you love London with the hashtag #LovinglifeLondon.
Not only is our capital city one of the top places to work and live in the UK with over 8 million residents, London is also one of the leading tourist destinations in the world. Millions of locals and tourists look for new and exciting things to do in London every day.
Which is why I have done a mini Spotlight with the top 3 London blogs:
No.1. Timeout London
Timeout London blog gives you ideas, tips, advice and offers in London. You can find everything from the best things to do each weekend, places to visit by location, where to eat and drink, what to watch, where to shop and even secret places in London which you have never heard of. The blog and website highlights how much there is to do in the capital city. Timeout London is the top blog thanks to its great visibility, interaction and social following.
Londonist is ‘a website about London and everything that happens in it’. How true this is.Be it news, politics, cheap ideas, weekend plans and a range of “Top 10s” such as theatre, comedy and other places of interest. This blog gives you all the different ideas you need. The blog came second in Spotlight, thanks to doing particularly well in social interaction and following.
VisitLondon is a London blog aimed at visitors to London. ‘Discover the best of London’ including things to do, where to stay and general information. Although perhaps less popular with the locals, this blog performs well across Spotlight particularly down to its social follow following and visibility.
