First ever live Tweet of a C-section…

This week, an article from @Mashable really caught our attention in the Tamar office. We  always like to stay up to date with the latest events being covered on Twitter. This event was no different, and perhaps one of the most personal momentous things we’ve seen on a live Twitter stream, ever!

In case you haven’t heard, this week a Houston’s Memorial Hermann hospital have  live tweeted  a  C-section for the first ever time.

We are pleased to report that the operation on the unnamed Mother went well, and she gave birth to a baby boy!

Although this is the hospitals first ever live C section, they have previously live Tweeted an open heart surgery for the first time in history, as well as a brain operation in May last year.

What will the world be live Tweeting next?
