Today’s top moment, in our ‘Year to Celebrate’ app, is the Paralympic Opening Ceremony.

After the spectacular Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, we didn’t quite know what to expect from the Paralympic Opening Ceremony.

The lower key, more poignant display was astounding, with appearances from the likes of Stephen Hawking and Sir Ian Mckellen. The theme for the night was enlightenment, and combined with the achievements that followed from the athletes, we certainly were enlightened by the Paralympics.

Outtakes: It didn’t make our ‘Year to Celebrate app’ but here at Tamar we certainly celebrated this years Apple product releases including the iPhone5 and iPad Retina Display! We look forward to what innovations Apple will come up with in 2013.
