Google introduces profile results

Currently only available for our friends across the pond, Google have begun to introduce individual's profiles within the search results much like it's blogs results. Now when you search your name in Google (I'm not the only person to have done that am I?!?) a Google Profile result will appear at the bottom of the page alongside results from a number of popular social media networks such as MySpace, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Unfortunately there have been no announcements as to when this functionaliy is likely to be introduced to the UK search results. If can't wait that long you can however start to build your very own Google Profile at www.google.com/profiles where you can add a short bio as well as links to your social network profiles, online photo albums and personal websites.
