It’s Google Voice!

Alex Christie

12 March 2009

UntitledGoogle has finally put GrandCentral (a service acquired 2 years ago) to good use, after being delayed since July 2007. The small number of GrandCentral users are the first to check out Google's new service called 'Google Voice'.

Google Voice looks very similar to Gmail. You're able to retrieve transcripts of your voicemail, archive and search all your sent and received SMS messages, and you can make calls directly from Google Voice’s interface. It only costs a small fee, but free in the US. Check out all the cool features.
