Yue Miao Athletics Carnival

Alex Christie

17 November 2008

A mere 3 months after the Olympic Games, sports mania found its way to Western Shanghai for an athletics carnival at the Yue Miao School.

It was a grey old Saturday afternoon, but you wouldn’t know it from the festive atmosphere of the school yard. Students families and various volunteers, came together to watch the students participate in running, basketball, volleyball, chinese chess and many other competitions.
