Google reader now able to translate blogs

Alex Christie

11 November 2008

If like me you are addicted to your set of trusted blogs, Google’s latest announcement will be a welcome surprise.

The Google reader now gives users the ability to have content on blogs in other languages, automatically translated into your native tongue.  Google will also rather cleverly remember your settings so that you will continue to receive a translated version of the blog.

This will be great for news stories breaking in other parts of the world, and marks another step forward for the engineers at the Google Translate Team!
