The best websites in the world…ever. Vol.19

Alex Christie

30 October 2008

Choosing the best sites ever is a rather hard decision. In day-to-day work there are many web sites (and online tools) I use for functional reasons as well as visiting more educational web sites to expand my knowledge.

Lets try looking at my list of bookmarks…. hmm the list is as long as my arm. It mostly contains quirky web sites I’ve stumbled across and also some rather interesting up and coming companies (in various industries) I’m keeping tabs on.

OK, instead of the "best ever", because there is just too many, let me share my favourite sites to visit during leisure time.

First would be the news web site Independent Online. This news web site posts stories from all the news papers across South Africa that are part of the Independent News & Media network. With local and international news, this is always first stop, with cup of coffee in hand.

Next is The Wren Design. Yes I know Wendren but this isn’t favoritism. This is blog is great not only because of her awesome designs, she really does have a talent for blogging and I find inspiration from many of her posts. In the next SA blog awards I’ll be nominating her for ‘Best New Comer" for sure.

Last but not least my favorite website for a bit of a laugh is Photoshop Disasters.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
