The best websites in the world…ever. Vol.15

Alex Christie

28 October 2008

During the September Insight event, I was introduced to the Videojug site and it quickly became my number 1 site.  It is great as it provides "how to" videos telling you all kinds of things you want to know about the world/how things work and it’s a great ice breaker for those quiet moments during dinner parties!  One of my personal favourites is the Going Bald – The Styling Options.  Yes… the Cheng is going bald but in a very graceful manner!  The navigation of the site is very user friendly, designed in an intuitive manner and delivers the information in an entertaining format.

My second site is Akihabara News.  As a frequent travellers to Japan , I can not go back to England without buying at least one gadget and I am constantly amazed at the plethora of new gadgets available!  If you find yourself in the land of the rising sun, have a look at this site and grab yourself a piece of technological kit!

Finally, for all you food lovers out there, Toptable is my third favourite.  It is an online restaurant booker covering the whole of the UK and lists thousands of restaurants in the UK providing online menus, reviews and 360 degree images of each restaurant.  Diners can read and compare information about restaurants before booking their table online.  In addition to that, a lot of the top London restaurants offer 2-4-1 deals or 50% off the bill!
