Donated goods arrive at Vuyani

Alex Christie

20 August 2008

After a lengthy battle with bureaucracy all the donated goods from the UK where finally delivered to Vuyani this week.

The books were particularly warmly received by the principal. Vuyani doesn’t have a library and so they rely on a few mobile bookshelves which are wheeled between the classes.

Big thanks to everyone involved in arranging the goods – particualry Sarah Graveling and her mother, Falkner house and Pat McDougall.

Here are a few pictures taken this morning at the school.
