A video has appeared on YouTube advertising the many (?) advantages of Twitter, narrated by a slightly annoyingly voiced man, using paper cut-outs. As far as I can tell from the "related videos", it seems to be one in a series of videos aimed at explaining things in plain English. But in my opinion, this only serves to highlight how pointless Twitter has become. In an age where all the functionality of Twitter is replicated in your status updates in all the major social networks, what purpose does a site like this serve? I’m not sure!
