Google purchase DoublecClick successfully
Google has completed its acquisition of DoubleClick – the digital marketing technology and service provider worth 3.1 billion dollars just after EU permitted this agreement on Tuesday.
Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, said with excitement that Google became the leading online advertiser and could bring up-to-date technology and infrastructure to the market. The efficiency and performance of publishers and digital media could be sharply improved. Meanwhile, the accuracy and relevance of online advertising would be much better.
With DoubleClick, Google will put more pressure on Microsoft. This will increase Microsoft’s need to acquire Yahoo so that they could try and challenge Google’s dominance in digital marketing.
