London Network Hits 2 Million; UK passes 8 Million

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll know that I have been keeping a close eye on the number of active Facebook users in the Top 10 countries; Well, just today another mile-stone was reached as the number of UK users smashed through the 8 million mark – and the number of members of the London network surpassed 2 million.

The London Network is now the biggest city network by a country mile, and the UK is catching up with Canada to challenge it’s 2nd place ranking in the chart. The US also continues to increase and topped 23 million this week. If you check out the graphs below, you’ll notice that there actually appeared to be a slow down in the past few weeks, but upon checking this evening I was pleased to see that they’d jumped back up again – obviously Facebook hasn’t reached critical mass quite yet.
