In my opinion, the make or break factor for any bit of marketing that hopes to become viral is very simple – whether I feel compelled to pass it on. Or even better – to write a blog entry about it.
Dutch website Hema has achieved that in spades with their latest website design – http://producten.hema.nl/. Designed as part of their annual HEMA Design Competition, at first glance it looks like a simple – albeit nicely designed – shopfront for their website. Give it a few seconds though and you will notice strange things happening with some of the products on the page.
With shades of the recent Honda ad campaign, I really love this site for it’s simplistic "fun" attitude. It’s a brilliant example of what you can do with your brand if you’ve got a sense of humour too.Tweet
