Reverse in some Page Rank values

Hot on the heels of the latest round of Page Rank updates it looks like Google is reversing some of the ‘penalties’ imposed on sites allegedly for selling links.

The Problogger site  was reportedly hit with a drop in Page Rank from 6 to 4 for selling links, something they used to do but have not done for a while.  They have now be reinstated with a PR of 6.

Andy Beard has some interesting figures which show all of this may not be done just yet. Check out Forbes which seems to vary from 4 to 5 to 6! And remember they started with a Page Rank of 7 a week ago.

So all very interesting but the key thing is what is happening to the rankings? And as yet apart from the usual flux not a lot but there is still time for this to develop further.
