Yahoo! has now added Flickr into its Yahoo! Image Search results,
claiming that it now provides users with a database of over 300m
images. All images will be credited to the photographer, and will link
through to other shots taken by that person.

‘We wanted to build a scalable integration that surfaced the freshest,
most relevant content from Flickr,’ commented Ujwal Tickloo, Yahoo!
Search product manager.

Neil says:

‘More traffic is coming through image searches from both Yahoo!
and Google so it is even more important to make sure your images are
tagged correctly.’
