Only 2 weeks to go…

In just 2 weeks we’ll be flying to Cape Town so we’re all very excited. We’ve
now raised £16,409 – a large amount of this has been from friends and families
over the last few weeks. So we’re really grateful for everyone’s generosity.
We’ve still go to raise £8409 before we go so we’re still fundraising. One of
our activities is a grand Ebay auction , starting on June 1st. There are some
great goods up for grabs (such as a week in Chamonix and a garden furniture set)
so watch this space for more details.

In terms of the project, the
builders in Cape Town have knocked down the old class room to make room for the
new one, the trenches have been dug and the construction site sectioned off.

All of the building material arrived on Friday but unfortunately they’ve
had really heavy rain so no construction took place over the weekend. However
the sun has re-appeared and the work is continuing.
